Boiler Scale Prevention chemicals are used to minimize the scaling tendencies within your boiler water. The most popular scale prevention chemicals are phosphates and polymers. ChemWorld 1595 is our most popular
boiler scale prevention chemical. Ideally, the product should be fed at a 8 to 1 hardness to phosphate ratio.
Also, always injection the scale prevention chemical into the drop leg of the feed water line before the feed water pumps. Typically feed water lines are 4" in diameter. Use a 2 3/4" chemical injection quill with a check valve to properly injection the chemical into the center of the feed water line that feeds into the steam boiler.
